Waterhole

The waterhole is situated in close proximity to the bungalows and is very popular amongst various wild animals.

Impalas, kudus, oryx but also gnus can be observed nearly all of the time. Every now and then a jackal, families of warthogs or maybe even a giraffe pass by.
Our waterhole is illuminated at night. Therefore, you are also able to watch the nocturnal animals when they come to drink water.

There is a high possibility of seeing the wild animals not only during the dry season but also in rainy season as we spread a few salt rocks for the animals to lick on.
You have a fantastic view of the waterhole directly from some of our bungalows.

Our campers are, of course, welcome to sit at the water hole as well.

Please note: Please keep quiet at the waterhole. The animals on our farm are wild and shy by nature.

Game Drive

You are invited to go on one of our popular game drives with us! We look forward to going in search of Onduruquea’s numerous wild animals together with you and watch out for giraffes, gnus, kudus, zebras, and many more. In addition, we explain to you the particularities of our flora and fauna.

On a huge area which is overgrown with acacia trees, an unusual giraffe cemetery can be observed. It is assumed that giraffes always come to the same spot to die. Amongst others, skeletons of giraffes lie on this cemetery.

As we drive, we will offer you fresh, chilled drinks.

Stalking

Would you like to be close to the action on our guest farm and explore Onduruquea by foot?
Then come and go stalking with us!
Together with you, we would like to explore the farm area. We will go stalking early in the morning as it will be the best time of the day to see lots of wild animals. The temperatures will be rather moderate and more pleasant than later in the day. Amongst others, we will show you the flora and fauna of our farm as well as various animal tracks. In addition, we can tell you some interesting anecdotes, stories about our farm, our country Namibia and give you an understanding of the life on an African farm.
