Monika Sibold makes very sure that her guests eat healthy and wholesome meals.
For many years, she has been producing various, home-made natural products. Behind the farm house, you will find a small vegetable and herb garden. Some dishes that we serve in the evenings have been prepared with natural ingredients from the garden.
We not only serve Namibian game meat like kudu, oryx or springbok, but also lots of fresh vegetables that are grown in our neighbourhood.
We are particularly pleased to serve our guests rather unknown meals such as butternut squash, South African Gem squash or sweet potatoes.
The meat is often prepared outside on the campfire and grilled on a so called “skottel braai” a typical Namibian utensil used for barbecues.
The meal will be completed with a delicious, local beer or a special South African wine. We gladly serve you our high quality water from the farm which is often mixed with juice or cordial. Dinner will be completed with a typical Namibian dessert.
By the way: „Braai“ is another typical Namibian expression which is almost the same as “barbecue”. In Namibia, a “braai” is not only some kind of national sport, but also a hobby and social event. No holiday is complete without at least one real “braai”.
